Welcome to Tru Tidy Services. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our cleaning services, website, communications, and all other related services provided by Tru Tidy.
By booking a service, accessing our website, or otherwise engaging with Tru Tidy, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our services.
1. Services Provided
Tru Tidy offers professional cleaning services, including but not limited to:

Move-in/move-out cleaning

Custom cleaning packages
The scope of services, pricing, and schedule will be confirmed in writing or electronically prior to the commencement of service.
Tru Tidy will perform general surface-level cleaning unless otherwise specified in writing. Services do not include dishwashing, laundry, pest removal, or heavy lifting over 25 lbs.
2. Booking and Payment

All appointments must be scheduled in advance via our website, phone, or email.

Payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing.

We accept major credit/debit cards and other approved payment methods.

Invoices not paid within the specified terms may incur late fees.
By booking, you authorize Tru Tidy to charge your provided payment method and agree not to initiate chargebacks for services rendered. Disputes must be resolved directly with Tru Tidy.

3. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled service may be subject to a cancellation fee of [insert amount or percentage].

Tru Tidy reserves the right to reschedule or cancel services due to weather, emergencies, or other unforeseen circumstances.

If a client repeatedly cancels or reschedules, Tru Tidy may decline future bookings.
Cancellations within 24 hours are charged 50% of the service fee. Cancellations within 6 hours or no-shows are charged 100%.

4. Access to Property
Clients are responsible for ensuring Tru Tidy has access to the premises at the scheduled time. Failure to provide access may result in cancellation fees.
If Tru Tidy is given a key or code, it is stored securely and used solely for accessing your property for scheduled services.
5. Client Obligations

Client must disclose any potential hazards, special instructions, or fragile items in the service area.

Tru Tidy is not liable for damage resulting from undisclosed conditions (e.g. faulty electrical outlets, loose fixtures, hazardous materials).

It is the client’s responsibility to secure pets and valuables prior to service.
Tru Tidy reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service if the environment is deemed unsafe, unsanitary, or beyond the scope of standard cleaning. This includes excessive hoarding, bodily fluids, pest infestations, or any condition that presents a health risk to our team. In such cases, a dispatch fee of $[insert amount] may still be charge
6. Satisfaction Guarantee and Complaints
If you are not satisfied with our service, notify us within 24 hours and we will make reasonable efforts to address the issue at no additional charge.
We reserve the right to determine whether a complaint is reasonable and whether a re-clean or refund is warranted.
Clients must submit documented complaints (including photos) within 24 hours. Re-cleans are limited to the areas in question and only one re-clean per appointment.

7. Liability and Insurance
Tru Tidy is insured and takes reasonable precautions in the performance of services. However, we are not liable for:

Items not disclosed as fragile or high-value
Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the affected service.
Tru Tidy's liability for any loss or damage shall be limited to the cost of the service provided or $300, whichever is lower. Claims must be submitted in writing within 48 hours of service.
Tru Tidy’s total liability for any loss or damage shall not exceed the lesser of: (a) the total amount paid for the specific cleaning service, or (b) $300. Claims for damage must be submitted in writing with documentation (photos or video) within 48 hours of service. Tru Tidy is not responsible for damage resulting from normal wear and tear, improper installation, pre-existing conditions, or items not disclosed as fragile or high-value.
8. Independent Contractors
Tru Tidy may use employees and/or independent contractors. All personnel are vetted and trained in accordance with company policies.
9. Termination
Tru Tidy reserves the right to refuse or terminate service at any time for any reason, including but not limited to unsafe working conditions, harassment, or non-payment.
10. Privacy Policy
By using our services, you agree to our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Clients will be notified of significant changes and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Cook County Illinois.

13. Scope of Services
Tru Tidy provides general residential and/or commercial cleaning, which includes dusting, vacuuming, mopping, surface cleaning, bathroom and kitchen cleaning, and light organizing.
Services do not include dishwashing, laundry, window washing above ground level, pest removal, mold remediation, carpet shampooing, heavy lifting (over 25 lbs), or handling of hazardous materials unless specifically agreed to in writing.
